NMFD is HACCP compliant and practices programs such as SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and is continuously improving on Quality Assurance Programs. NMFD has a quality assurance/micro laboratory on manufacturing safe, quality, wholesome food products.

NMFD is inspected by the Food and Drug Administration and the Bernalillo County Health Department. We are staffed with a trained QC Technician who monitors and tests all of our products, we live up to the accountability of high standards for all of our products.

The HACCP Process:

  • Hazard Analysis

  • Identifying Critical Control Points (CCP)

  • Establishing Critical Limits for each CCP

  • Monitoring CCP requirements and using the data gathered to effectively control processes

NMFD accommodates an office in our plant for USDA Federal Inspector and is on the premises every day to monitor operations and review procedures.
